Screwpump

The video is a short look at the operation of a screwpump sometimes called an Archimedes' screw. The screwpump was supposedly created by Archimedes in the 2nd century BC. However, there are some documents that suggest such pumps were used to move water to the upper levels of the Hanging Gardens of Babylon which predates Archimedes by several hundred years.
